I just came upon a very good presentation (during an online search) by
Brand Niemann and Ken Gill that is part of their contribution to the
US Federal Enterprise Architecture ("FEA") Data and Information
Reference Model ("DRM") data management strategy.    (01)

  See: http://www.web-services.gov/DRMBusinessNeed4.ppt    (02)

The work of some of our community members: Mike Daconta/Leo
Obrst/Kevin Smith, Jack Park/Sam Hunting; and even our [ontolog-forum]
community of practice, has been referenced in there too.    (03)

Let's keep up the good work here ... we definitely look forward to
closer collaboration with the eGov/FEA folks in the future.    (04)

Regards. -ppy    (05)
