[ontolog-invitation] Fwd: [iaoa-general] Public Report of IAOA EC
meeting (n.20)]

Dear Eliana,    (03)

Thank you for the message. (Sorry for the delayed response as I have
been traveling.)    (04)

Members of the Ontolog community are provided with a self-help service
for them to announce (and make other non-commercial broadcasts on)
events that they are organizing (or presenting at) to the rest of the
community.    (05)

I just noticed that you have neither signed up to be a member of
Ontolog , nor IAOA, yet. So far, you are only on the the Ontolog
announcement list*.
Assuming what members of Ontolog (a virtual community of practice) and
IAOA (a non-profit organization aiming at promoting interdisciplinary
research and international collaboration) do, actually align well with
your professional interest, may I invite you to consider joining both
of them.    (06)

Please refer to details, respectively, at:    (07)

* Joining Ontolog - http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?WikiHomePage#nid1J    (08)

* Joining IAOA - http://www.iaoa.org/membership/membership.html    (09)

After you have become a member of Ontolog, you will be in a position
to announce the "EKAW 2010 Workshop on Ontology Quality" event
yourself through the [ontolog-forum] mailing list, and through the
OntologWiki (ref.
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?WikiHomePage#nidRER), which,
I'm sure, will be of interest to our community members.    (010)

Feel free to email me again if you have further questions, or if you
run into any issues.    (011)

Best regards.  =ppy    (012)

p.s. note that being on the [ontolog-invitation] list (which you are)
or the [iaoa-general] list (which you aren't yet) does not make one a
member of the respective communities. Members of Ontolog are on the
[ontolog-forum] list, and members of IAOA are on the [iaoa-member]
list. While both operate virtually on the same virtual collaborative
work environment, these are two distinct and independent
organizations.  =ppy
