Thirty six meeting of the IAOA Executive Council (EC) Virtual
Meeting of 19 Jan 2011

The EC has approved the budget for FOMI 2011. The website of the event is: http://ict1.tbm.tudelft.nl/fomi2011/ 

The EC continued the reading and discussion of the Bylaws draft for a part of the meeting. The analysis concentrated on the article "ELECTION OF COUNCILORS AND OFFICERS" and in particular on the procedure and time schedule for IAOA elections and ballots. The EC agreed that the process implemented for the April 2010 election/ballots was positive and decided to keep it as a guideline for this part of the Bylaws.

The EC has selected the location for next FOIS conference: FOIS 2012 will be held in Granz, Autstria with Stefan Schulz as Local Chair.

The French conference IC 2011 (22th Journées francophones d’Ingénierie des Connaissances; French national conference on Knowledge Engineering; http://ic2011.liris.cnrs.fr/) is an IAOA supported event
