Nineteen meeting of the IAOA Executive Council (EC)

The IAOA EC expressed satisfaction with the whole election and ballots process, and thanks the election committee and the software developer for the organization and the work done. The participation to the election and ballots is remarkable and is a good sign for the future of the association.

The IAOA EC acknowledges and adopts the official results of the 2010 IAOA election and ballots as reported in attachment (*).

The new IAOA EC will take duty during the Assembly on May 13 in Toronto. For more information see the IAOA web page: www.iaoa.org

The IAOA EC discussed the organization of the Assembly and the topics for the Assembly's agenda. Although everybody is invited to the Assembly, to ensure wide participation a teleconference system will be set up. Information on how to connect will be distributed to the iaoa-member list together with the Assembly agenda.

Furthermore, the IAOA EC is considering the possibility to record the whole Assembly and make it available to the members.

The IAOA EC considered the need to propose at the Assembly the budget for the current year which, however, needs to be organized according to the plan of activities that the elected IAOA EC should prepare. For this reason, a preparatory meeting of the new elected IAOA EC is foreseen before the Assembly. During the meeting the President, Vice President and Secretary will be elected and the treasurer will be appointed.
