Eighteen meeting of the IAOA Executive Council (EC)
Public Report (21 April 2010)

The IAOA EC finalized the topics for the upcoming ballot. The IAOA members will be asked to vote on the following issues:

1) IAOA Statute: partial change of Art.18 (duration of IAOA EC office)
2) Time at which the IAOA EC takes office
3) Institution of the Advisory Board
4) IAOA logo
5) 2009 Financial Statement

Information on the ballots and related documents will be made available to the IAOA members in a few days.

The IAOA EC approved the 2009 Financial Statement prepared by the treasurer. The 2009 Financial Statement is now ready for the Assembly ballot.

The IAOA EC was informed on the development of FOIS registration and budget. A few people registered as IAOA members while they are not. Actions will be taken to inform these people of the error and correct this incongruence.

The IAOA EC has been informed on the voting procedure. The focus is to ensure that people can vote in a secure way and have a feedback that their vote has been received. The software is ready, a run of tests is ongoing.

Finally, the IAOA considered the status of nominations and candidacies. Although the number of candidates is already higher than the number of seats, it is hoped that new nominations will arrive to cover more geographical and domain areas.
