Walt Truszkowski is currently the Senior Technologist in the Advanced Architectures and Automation Branch at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. In that capacity he is responsible for managing the agent technology research for the Branch. Current major projects include work in the area of spectral analysis automation via agents and studies in support of the Autonomous Nano Technology Swarm (ANTS) project which is investigating artificial intelligence approaches to asteroid belt exploration. He also serves as the Lead of the Strategic IS Technology Research Group in the Branch. In that capacity, he is leading studies in the areas of ontology negotiation and the application of agent technology for the intelligent access and management of web-based information. He is one of the founders of the Semantic Web Interest Group (SWIG) at Goddard. (17BE)
He is a National Research Council (NRC) accredited Fellow participating in the Resident Researcher's Associate (RRA) program at the Goddard Space Flight Center. (17BF)
