- Adam: why 8 custodians? (some are extensions of the same upper ontology, I see only 3 main UO's) (L7Q)
- we need to focus to make sure we aren't just getting a few smart people together to just talk (L7S)
- suggest we focus the discussion to the 3 UO's (Cyc, SUMO & DOLCE) on how they can be merged, or if that is not feasible, how we could address the issues ... (Adam: please clean this up ... and express your thoughts at the relevant lists or pages named under 4 above.) (L80)
- Pat: note that this is the 50th anniversary of AI ... they were addressing much broader issues then (L7T)
- Steve: ref the 5 points of the /JointCommuniqueDraft, what can we agree to in terms of intent (first 3 points) and document approaches that may be feasible (L7U)
- Pat: we may need to be unanimous ... maybe a majority outcome and a minority report is prper too ... we just want to inform the public and be honest with it (L7V)
