Todd Schneider (15T3)
Semantic Architect, Software / Systems Engineer email: (15T4)
Dr. Schneider is a semantic architect, extending enterprise and systems architecture with explicit representations of the semantics of the domain modeled (i.e., another view) and their entailments. Previously, he was a Senior Principal Engineer and architect at Raytheon and representative to the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium (NCOIC) where he chairs the Semantic Interoperability Framework and Net-Centric Attributes Working Groups. He is an active member of the Ontolog forum participating in the development of the Open Ontology Repository and was on the ISWC 2009 organizing committee. Through his work at Raytheon, NCOIC, and the Ontolog Forum he is advancing the notions of semantic clarity and derivation, aided by the use of semantic technologies, architecture and modeling. Prior experiences include numerous years in commercial software, cellular communications, teaching, research on the model theory of partial orders, a Ph.D. in Mathematical Logic, M.S. in Mathematics, B.S. in Physics, time in the American Federation of Musicians, and probably other things.
