Rick Hooper has served as the President and Executive Director of the Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science, Inc. (CUAHSI) since 2003. Prior to that he was a Research Hydrologist with the US Geological Survey with research interests in streamflow generation and biogeochemical cycling in headwater catchments. He developed a multivariate technique (End-member Mixing Analysis) using geochemical tracers for source apportionment of streamflow that is widely used. Hooper received his PhD and MS in Environmental Systems Engineering from Cornell and AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University.    (3ERG)
