call-for-collaboration-partners, call-for-team-members, ... etc.)
on open events, open competition or other open processes on this page, for the
general interest of our members and the ontology community-at-large.
Ontolog members: please post if you are involved (organizing, presenting) at the event.
Please do not post information on 'member-only' or 'private' calls.
A short entry, in reverse chronological order of the deadline date should be made.

- STIDS 2013 - Paper submission deadline: 14-Aug-2013 - The program committee of the 2013 Conference on Semantic Technologies for Intelligence, Defense, and Security (STIDS 2013) is accepting submissions of technical and poster papers to our upcoming conference in November. Following the success of the previous 7 conferences, STIDS 2013 will provide a forum for academia, government and industry to share the latest research on semantic technology for defense, intelligence and security applications. Semantic technologies are a fundamental enabler to achieve greater flexibility, precision, timeliness and automation of analysis and response to rapidly evolving threats. The main conference will be held on November 13-14, with a tutorial session on November 12 and a classified session for those with TS/SCI clearances only on November 15.
