Paul Cichonski is an Information Technology Specialist working for the National Institute of Standards and Technology. In the past, Mr. Cichonski is involved in the development of the National Vulnerability Database (http://nvd.nist.gov) at NIST. He is heavily involved in the development of specifications relating to the NIST Security Automation Program (http://scap.nist.gov) aimed at standardizing the communication of IT security information. As part of this program, Mr. Cichonski is researching strategies to evolve these standards from XML Schema-based data models to semantic models that leverage the W3C semantic modeling languages. Mr. Cichonski has a Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences and Technology from Pennsylvania State University.    (2LZX)
