Naicong Li    (2ONK)

Naicong Li is a Senior Research and GIS Analyst at Redlands Institute, University of Redlands, where she leads the research effort in developing a Spatial Decision Support (SDS) ontology and the SDS Knowledge Portal (http://www.spatial.redlands.edu/sds/ ), and is a founding member of the SDS Consortium (http://www.spatial.redlands.edu/sds/consortium/ ). She is experienced in spatial modeling in various application domains including endangered species recovery, non-native invasive species management, and intrinsic landscape aesthetic resources evaluation. Prior to entering the field of GIS, Naicong worked in the areas of natural language processing, machine translation, knowledge representation and expert systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics and a M.S. in Computer Science (State University of New York at Buffalo), and a B.A. in French (Peking University). Her current research interests include knowledge engineering, SDS, urban planning and design, spatial cognition and dynamic modeling.    (36ZY)
