Dr. Mohammad Nazir Ahmad is a Lecturer in Information Systems with the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems, the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM), lecturing in databases and information systems. His recent research interest is in the role of ontology and knowledge management (KM) for three research areas: ontology-based interoperating information systems (OIS), software engineering (SE), and enterprise systems (ES). He has more than 20 publications and has supervised more than 10 completed BSc and 1 MSc candidates. (2R96)
In 2009 he was awarded a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Queensland for research into an ontology server for ontology-based interoperation of information systems. (2R97)
