I work as a research fellow in Tampere University of Technology / Department of Production Engineering in Finland. My field is in the area of knowledge representations for assembly and manufacturing processes. Mostly I have been using ontologies for describing products, processes and corresponding resources and connections between classes (and domains); ontology as common knowledge representation between different design tools and finally for providing some basic reasoning on the content. I believe that in Ontology Summit spring 2010 the word for my field was "applied ontologies" whereas a certain lady speaker defined the most of the applied ontology users as "ontology misusers". I do agree with her definitions and therefore seek to extent my knowledge on the this field.    (2L7G)
