Michael D. Kull, Ph.D. currently leads KM efforts at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, recently ranked by an OPM-sponsored survey as #1 in KM and Leadership and #1 Best Place to Work in the Federal Government. He is also President of AMPLIFI, a management and social media consulting and services company. His academic research has revolved around knowledge management, organizational learning, leadership and innovation, organizational storytelling and cultural narratives, and the creative expression of ideas through digital media and social networking tools. He is on the Board of the KM Institute and currently co-chairs the intergovernmental KM working group. (19R0)
He has spoken at more than 50 conferences and has authored over 30 publications. As the founder of AMPLIFI, his consulting work and executive education has guided Federal Government and Fortune 500 organizations to discover innovative ways to create and share ideas and insights. Michael D. Kull earned a Ph.D. concurrently with an M.B.A., and holds an M.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University, where he designed and taught the first knowledge management course in the world. His international experience includes around-the-world travel and documentary work across 35 countries. When not otherwise engaged, Dr. Kull works with independent filmmakers, authors, bloggers, podcasters and other social and cultural storytellers. (19R2)
