Dr. Manuel Mora is a Full Professor of Information Systems (Titular Level C) in the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (UAA), Mexico, since 1994. Dr. Mora holds a B.S. in Computer Systems (1984) and a M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence (1989) from Monterrey Tech (ITESM), and a Doctorate in Engineering (2003) from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He has published about 50 research papers (book chapters, encyclopedia articles, proceeding papers and academic journal papers), and served as reviewer, chair and guest co-editor for international books, journals and conferences, in the topics of Systems Approach for IS research and Decision-making support systems (DMSS) and KMS. He is a ACM Senior Member, AE for IEEE-TSMC Part A, and is a co-founder of the International Journal for Information Technology and the Systems Approach, where serves as co Editor-in-Chief. His main long-term research interest is the development of a common philosophical foundation for information systems, systems engineering and software engineering disciplines using the systems approach.    (2HTI)
