I am a programmer/analyst at Cornell University and the principle architect and developer of its Energy Management and Control System (EMCS). (1UIU)
I am a member of a team called Building Automation and Control Systems Integration and we have been working on making "smart" buildings and "smart" supervisory systems long before "smart" became popular with the trade press! I am also one of the web masters and mailing list administrators for the BACnet community and the Facility Smart Grid Information Model, which is currently under development and closed to the public.
