This workshop will function as the second official Ontolog Face-to-Face meeting. http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl/wiki.pl?OntologWorkshop_July_2004. Bob Smith has not yet formally received any of the papers to be presented. (26M)
- (26N)
- In addition to the Ontolog workshop we have agreed to have a joint meeting with the SICoP committee (Semantic Interoperability Community of Practice), a group of government information scientists concerned with fostering semantic interoperabiilty between government agencies. This meeting will be held in the afternoon of July 7, pre-empting attendance at the Protege sessions being held at that time. The specific time has not yet been set, tentatively it has been set for 1:30 to 5:30 PM. (26O)
- (26R)
- Monica said she will not be able to attend the July Protege workshop. She is TC cochair of the OASIS BPSS (Business Process Specification Schema). A lot of discussion has been held about the effect of context, a very broad topic, relating to business processes. Another issue has been whether to use BPMN (Business Process Management Notation) as a notation for BP modeling. (26S)
