Agenda & Proceedings (Y7)
- ... (insert content here) ... (Y8)
- We welcomed Tim, joining us at a CCTONT worksession call for the first time (Y9)
- reviewing the SIGMA-kee situation (YA)
- Adam will work with Peter offline - will work towards upgrading both SIGMA and Tomcat on the SIGMA2 server (YB)
- Adam also suggested that both Garret and Tim install SIGMA locally (YC)
- Adam will try to make the binary ready ASAP (YD)
- Tim and Adam had an extensive discussion on the KIF representation of "Amount. Type" as a means to align everyone's (those on the call) understanding of where our approach is taking us, and how it is similar or different from the existing approaches (at CCTS, UBL, etc.) (YE)
- reusing existing standards should become part of our approach to make the task manageable (YF)
- Adam: the problem we are trying to solve is the need for having computable standards (defined in logic), when current standards are defined in human languages and requires human beings to interpret them (YG)
- it may not make standards development any easier, but the eventual payoff would be the time when we can use the logic to allow us to automatically check for internal consistencies within the standards (YH)
- we would need to work on the "presentation" (YI)
- relating the Supplementary Components to the CCT's (YJ)
- we will continue on the [cctont-imp] email list (YK)
- Peter will be in Washington DC all week next week (YL)
- we'll arrange our next conference call when the team deems it necessary (YM)
- call adjourned 2004.07.02_18:30_PDT (YN)
