Minutes for the June 23, 2008 Meeting    (1JSZ)

• Team agreed that there is a distinction between founding members and charter members    (1JT0)
• An Announcement of the Kick-off meeting did take place    (1JT2)
• Bob Smith emailed Bill East about a project that Bob and his team are working on to build a registry around this effort.    (1JT3)
• Deborah MacPherson agreed to coordinate the effort to create a web page were documents can be hosted and the selection appropriate tools in managing the content. The goal is to stick with open software    (1JT4)
• Bob queried the team to see if anyone has a MindMap of how organizations represent the building phases.    (1JT5)
• OmniClass was also discussed. OmniClass has a table which is strictly for phases. It also has tables about materials and facility types which are linked to the phases. Deborah MacPherson suggested that we get Roger Grant or someone else from CSI to join the discussion. Deborah said she will also reach out Greg Seton.    (1JT6)

  • It was suggested that we should not lock in on technology (hardware, etc.) as this will be out dated by the time the building is completed. We should lock in on performance goals where performance supports business goals.    (1JTG)
