Alden Dima is a Computer Scientist in the Information Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He has a BEE from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MS (in Electrical Engineering) from the University of Connecticut and an MS (in Computer Science) from the George Washington University. Prior to joining NIST in 1997, Alden worked for about eight years as an engineer the electric power utility and telecom industries. He is a member of the IEEE, the IEEE Computer Society, and the ACM.
