MW: Perhaps time to drop in that I have come to see that perhaps a unit
of measure can best be understood as a +1 function on a scale (i.e. the
difference between two points that are one apart). This is different
from how units are often described as being 0-1 on a scale, or some
particular magnitude. (03)
