- I'm writing up the OOR use cases for semantic interoperability.
- I'm creating more use cases in two directions : downward toward the
infrastructure (e.g. federation use cases) and upward toward domain
experts and general users (addressing Cameron's concerns about actual
utility by those not ontologists)
- I'm also creating the use cases for the run-time (and build-time)
environments which may be related to the branching from the Bioportal
code base
- The bioportal code is almost installed. When it is tested I will
contact John B. again to see if I can get HeTS. In the longer term I
plan on somehow getting a UML toolset integrated and I have SciLab and R
opensource analytical packages that I want integrated (this may also be
related to the branching of the code base. (03)
- I also plan to incorpoate some of the stuff I've done in the past and
make it open source. (04)
- Also, I'm reminded of Cory C. activities (I haven't contacted him
yet). We might want to think about incorporating those activities in the
branch(s) (05)
- I'm interested in where John S. is at with SIO. I have some stuff in
Category Theory which has strong ties to Lattice Theory. (06)
- Federation capabilities in the branches need to be addressed (07)
