Peter, (01)
Unfortunately CentOS repository does not have the latest patch level
for ruby. They still have ruby 1.8.5. I had asked shinya because he
may have already compiled an rpm from source code for latest version
for other CIM3 machines. We do not have C/C++ compilers installed on
our VMs. (02)
If its ok to install gcc, I will go ahead and compile from source on
the VM. If Shinya compiles, he can add the rpm to CIM3 repository and
install it on other VMs as required. (03)
I am not sure what CIM3 policy is on installing compilers on production machine. (04)
