Further to the discussion on our OntologySummit2009: Follow-up and
Action Planning Call of Thu 2009-05-14, where we had consensus to
start a new mailing list to handle the conversation relating to the
nine (9) sample projects for developing ontology-based standards (ref.
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?OntologySummit2009_Communique#nid1WM1
) identified in the OntologySummit2009 Communique (ref.
http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?ConferenceCall_2009_05_14#nid1XN4
), I am happy to announce that this archived mailing list, in the name
of [ontology-based-standards] has now been created. (01)
As a start, I have already subscribed the champions of those nine
projects, as well as everyone who was registered (including those who
sent in their regrets) for the abovementioned 2009-05-14 session.
Anyone else interested can subscribe to this list at:
http://ontolog.cim3.net/mailman/listinfo/ontology-based-standards (one
may configure their subscription or unsubscribe from the list at that
page too.) (02)
Please start moving all conversations relating to those projects to
this new [ontology-based-standards] mailing list. The
[ontology-summit] will soon be used for the purpose of soliciting
community input and for the planning/organization of
OntologySummit2010. (03)
Thanks & regards. =ppy
