Greetings! In lieu of the May 23 Collaborative Expedition workshop, an open forum on Service-Oriented Architecture will be held at MITRE on May 23-24. This forum serves to open strategic dialogue around the potentials and realities of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). SOA is characterized by communities working together to forge agreements, in light of mutually understood commonalities and differences, in order to advance business value, agility, and technology diversity. A briefing for the Architecture & Infrastructure and Best Practices Committees on May 16th and May 15th, respectively, has been prepared.
