Hi Till, (037)
You only really need Fraunhofer, but I'm happy to be a co-submitter,
especially if I'm working with Tara on an ontology to be used for both
API4KBs and for OntoIOp. We should be able to get other people who
are participants in API4KBs to sign up as well. That would carry
additional weight I think. (038)
Likely candidates include 88solutions, Deere & Company, Adaptive,
ACORD, Arizona State University, the RuleML community, and possibly
others. Also, I spoke with Trica Balfe from Nomos Software this
morning, and she suggested that we reach out to some of the OCL
community, including Ed Willink. I can provide his contact details if
you think it would be good to include them. Ed knows the EU folks
working on OCL, especially in academia, and could connect you with
some who might want to contribute a transformation that includes OCL.
Apparently there are implementations that people have developed that
enable the use of theorem provers with OCL, which would be an
interesting and possibly important piece of the story. (039)
You don't really need any of the other participants to write
-anything-, though having additional reviewers and perspectives
involved would likely only improve the resulting specification. (040)
I'm not sure whether or not I'll be able to participate tomorrow
...[snip]... but will do my best. (041)
Let me know if you would like contact details for folks in these
organizations -- happy to provide them. (042)
Best regards, (043)
Elisa (044)
[07:18] TillMossakowski: I will ask AdrianPaschke from the RuleML community (045)
[07:19] TillMossakowski: I already have asked HolgerSchlingloff and
AndreasHoffmann from Faunhofer Fokus, Berlin, Germany - they are in. (046)
[07:20] ConradBock: I'll ask RogerBurkhart of Deere, and EdWillink (OCL). (047)
[07:20] TillMossakowski: ElisaKendall from Thematix is in (048)
[07:22] TillMossakowski: I will ask DavideSottara from Arizona State University (049)
[07:23] TillMossakowski: I will ask TaraAthan (API4KB, RuleML) whether
she can suggest other people (050)
[07:25] PeterYim: Till: === organisation of the preparation of an
answer to the OntoIOp RFP (051)
[07:27] TillMossakowski: Fabian and I will take the existing ISO
working draft (more than 100 pages) and convert it into a starting
point for the answer to the RFP (052)
[07:28] TillMossakowski: I suggest to keep the answer to the RFP in
LaTeX as long as possible, because collaborative editing is easier
(via subversion). (053)
[07:29] TillMossakowski: Conrad: we can even submit a PDF. (054)
[07:31] TillMossakowski: Conrad: We can even let all draft answers be
in LaTeX, and only one year after finalisation, we need to submit a
source. (055)
[07:32] TillMossakowski: Fabian told me that the two most important
things are 1) the ability to comment the documents (but this can be
done with PDFs), and 2) producing diffs (buth this can be done using
difflatex) (056)
[07:32] ConradBock: Submit source when adopted, but no one will look
at it until after finalization (a year after adoption), so you can use
Latex for quite a while. (057)
