Just remember that if you change a password you are changing the REAL one.

technically:
- the new login procedure is all handled by me (not by the apache server)
- this will add some more flexibility (for example give a user information that the password is valid but the
  subscription is expired)  .... this is comment out for now because I'm no more a member .... :-)
- the login is handled thru https therefore enhancing security of personal data.
