The EC discussed the needs for a general policy to provide funding to supported
events, including participation in those events. As of now, IAOA has funded
invited speakers and prizes/awards. The EC agreed that funding will only be
provided by adopting rules for each event, while unsolicited individual
requests will generally be denied. The main focus of IAOA event funding shall
remain to be co-organized events. (011)
The chairs of the Education Committee have stepped down and the EC will look
for new candidates to take the position(s). (012)
The schedule for the Technical Committees and SIGs meetings is not complete
yet. (013)

Since the web infrastructure is now working and offers several functionalities,
the EC calls on IAOA Champions of supported events to provide a blog entry for
the Association website before the event and a report/survey entry afterwards
(cf. Art.X in the IAOA Bylaws). (017)

Committee, comprising an initial presentation by the committee chair Michael
Gruninger and subsequent discussion. The meeting with the Design Semantics SIG
