Fifty-seventh meeting of the IAOA Executive Council (EC)

The EC checked the latest version of the IAOA Statute which was updated with
all feedbacks from members.
The EC approved this as the final version which will be put on ballot. (09)
A ballot will be organized between end of April and beginning of May to vote on
the IAOA 2011 Financial Statement and the IAOA Statute. A message of the
President to the IAOA members will claify the ballot organization and set the
dates for voting. (010)
The EC is happy to know that the IAOA Summer School has already over 50
registered participants. Furthermore, 23 students from all the world have
applied for grants. These students will be invited to register after the IAOA
Education Committee has taken a decision on the grant distribution.
People interested in attending should consider registering quickly because we
are already close to cover all seats.
Due to the number of registrations already received, the EC adopted the
treasurer's proposal to reserve 1000 Euro of the Summer School budget for extra
scholarships. In this way, the IAOA will distribute a total of 4000 Euro in
grants to participate to the IAOA Summer School. (011)
As an exceptional measure, the EC will partially support Maureen Donnelly (FOIS
program co-chair) for her traveling expenses to participate to FOIS. (012)
