PeterYim: Hi Tim ... ToddSchneider: Where are Paul's updated notes? MikeDean: http://palexander.posterous.com/extending-bioportals-rails-ui PeterYim: BioPortal is supposed to be Acegi Security Framework based - see: http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?OpenOntologyRepository_Architecture/From_BioPortal#nid2MSZ KenBaclawski: The gatekeeper software is a SOAP web service but the OOR software uses REST. Fortunately, I have a package (called soaprest) that allows one to deploy any Java Web Service (JWS) so that it accepts both SOAP and REST requests and responds according to the type of request. It even produces an HTML document that documents the REST API similar to the one BioPortal provides, except that the soaprest package automates the generation of the HTML. TimDarr: I had to step away, but I am back now. MikeDean: Are current BioPortal API keys part of Acegi? KenBaclawski: Maximo Gurmendez PeterYim: would be nice to ping the NCBO folks during SemTech (in a couple of weeks) by those who are going to be there ... Mike?
