I just muted your line, so please do a *7 to unmute when you speak 9and then a *6 to go back to mute again) PeterYim: Till asked several questions to try to catch up on where the OOR architecture development stands now. PeterYim: during that discussion the issue of visulaization (especially that for CL / FOL ontologies) came up PeterYim: Ken: see - http://sandbox.oor.net - see how BioPortal (and the current OOR sandbox) is doing it PeterYim: ref. FOL visualization - see SUMO's implementation - http://ontolog.cim3.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?WikiHomePage#nidBN8 ... they provide a near-natural language description of each axiom PeterYim: (also below the above link) the KSMSA Ontology Browser, by MichalSevcenko supposedly offers some visualization ... but unfortunately, it is not working properly at this moment KenBaclawski: To deal with visualization of other ontology languages, there should be a visualization mapping mechanism (e.g., an automated way to extract the concepts and relationships from the ontology) that can use the existing visualization software or a visualization plugin capability that allows one to introduce an entirely new visualization.
