TopQuadrant formed in November of 2001. Our consultants are from large consulting organizations and have a backround in AI, Object Technology, Knowledge Management and a range of Methodologies. {nid AWH} Our work has a strong focus on Knowledge Technology and the use of supporting Ontologies for knowledge applications. For example, at NASA we are working on using ontologies to better manage engineering knowledge for the Space Shuttle Program and to design an intelligent integration layer between different systems. With GM, we are looking at ways to use ontologies to improve search, categorization and the acquisition of knowledge. Our eGovernment project is investigating the use of ontology for applications that need to use or comply with the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA).
