Vlad Tanasescu is research associate at the University of Edinburgh, where his research focuses on the spatial and temporal conditions in urban and peri-urban environments. He is interested in the computational representation of place and of geographical experience. To that purpose he uses lightweight knowledge representation paradigms, as implemented in collaborative tagging systems. (2DDQ)
