Tomasz Adamusiak MD PhD is a Senior Scientist at the Human and Molecular Genetics Center, Medical College of Wisconsin and a Chair Elect of the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Knowledge Representation and Semantics Working Group. He trained in clinical informatics at the U.S. National Library of Medicine, and bioinformatics at the Genome Campus in Hinxton, UK.    (41E9)

Dr. Adamusiak’s major role at HMGC MCW is the continued design and development of the ClinMiner portal, and the development of data import pipelines from the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin EHR (Epic).    (41EA)

His major focus is on improving the quality of health care through health IT, in particular the next-generation EHR phenotyping and the application of UMLS and Meaningful Use ontologies: SNOMED CT, LOINC, and RxNorm in clinical data analytics.    (41D8)
