I am a Research Associate at University of Pennsylvania. I started to work on ontology in 2009. With the background in both biology and computer sciences, I am focusing on the ontology development and application in biological area. Currently I am involving the development of ontology for biomedical investigations (OBI) and Ontology for parasite life cycle (OPL) and mapping MGED ontology (MO) to OBI. Besides, I am working on the projects to apply the ontology in bioinformatics web services to facilitate web services composition, standardize metadata of biological data collection, and clinical data integration cross various resources.
